    Wow. Democracy like a smoothie…. Darn, why didn’t I think of that? Seriously though, I think PD 2.0 is a great way to reach the “hearts and minds” of the next generation by engaging them on their terms. However, I wonder how much involvement the state will have on these online forums. I know the point is to establish a “democratic virtual world” that allows for the free exchange of ideas, however, the skeptic in me wonders how much restraint the state will truly have if/when the discussions are unfavorable or overly critical of them. Will they stand by and allow these discussions to take place on sites they host?
